Feature Films

• Early Submissions – £30 until Friday 30th May 2014 (*WAB discounted £25)
• Regular Submissions – £35 until Friday 4th  July 2014 (*WAB discounted £30)
• Late Submissions – £45 until Friday 18th July 2014 (*WAB discounted £40)
• Extended Deadline – £55 until Friday 1st August 2014 (*WAB discounted £50)
  

Short Films

• Early Submissions – £15 until Friday 30th May 2014 (*WAB discounted £10)
• Regular Submissions -£20 until Friday 4th  July 2014 (*WAB discounted £15)
• Late Submissions -£35 until Friday 18th July 2014 (*WAB discounted £30)
• Extended Deadline – £50 until Friday 1st August 2014 (*WAB discounted £45)
  

“Even Shorter Shorts” (Short 5 minutes or under)

• Regular Submissions -£10 until Friday 18th July 2014  (*WAB discounted £5)
• Extended Deadline – £35 until Friday 1st August 2014 (*WAB discounted £30)
  

 

Notification of selection decisions will be by Friday 8th August 2014 by email.

*WAB – Without a Box discounted fee when submitted via ‘Without a Box’ submission website.

Aberdeen Film Festival regard a short film as 45 minutes or under in length.  A feature film is over 45 minutes in length.  An ‘even shorter short film’ is five minutes or under in length.  All films will be timed and if found to be over the specified time, will only be put forward for selection in the relevant section upon extra payment or re-editing.

We shall return any material sent to us only if a pre-paid mailer is sent with submission.

We cannot  be held responsible for any items lost in post.

All films will be viewed by at least three members of the selection committee to ensure suitability for the festival.
